If true, I really like this. A kid born in St. Paul, Minnesota grows up to be a professional baseball player and plays for his home team for, potentially, the rest of his life. He will never come back to haunt them in a Yankees or Red Sox uniform. He’ll hopefully continue to be successful and Twins fans will be eternally grateful.
The Giants need to do this with Tim Lincecum sooner or later, even though it’s a semi-different situation (The Mariners had their chance). imovermyhead
